Franklin Mazón has been a painter for 24 years. Franklin And Son Painting itself is a newer venture — a couple of years old — built on that two-decades-plus of hands-on experience rather than started from scratch.
Painting is what Franklin calls his strong suit, but the work doesn't stop there — stucco repair, drywall, and pressure washing come up often enough on real jobs that he handles those too, rather than sending a homeowner to find three different contractors for one house.
It's a family operation in the most literal sense: his niece helps field calls from customers, and his son helps him keep up with the technology side of running a small business. It's not a franchise or a call center — it's Franklin, on the job, doing the work himself.
What Franklin Believes About the Work
Franklin is upfront that trust has to be earned — he's been burned before by people who took his money and disappeared, and he runs his own business the opposite way: do the job right, be honest about what it costs, and let the work speak for itself. If something doesn't need fixing, he'll tell you. If it does, he'll tell you that too.
